I am working as researcher and professor in astrophysics (planetary sciences) since more than two decades, being involved, sometimes in leading positions, in large scale projects (e.g. NCCR PlanetS, space missions like CHEOPS and PLATO, building up of the one of the most comprehensive simulation package to study the formation of planetary systems). I have started working in machine learning, moving towards deep learning and NLP during since the 2020 and I am now leading a research group using these techniques in the framework of numerical models of systems of planets (solar systems and extrasolar planets).
