Ahead of the Swiss {ai} Weeks Bern Hackathon, we organized a first trade fair dedicated to AI at WORKSPACE & MORE - the new coworking space and bustling tech area of Liebefeld. A busy week included a full program of events and showcases to launch a #siliconlovefield hashtag: a transliteration into English of the geographic name of Liebefeld (1st edition T-shirts are in stock!) as a local community initiative, now with a siliconlovefield.ch website.

Location

In Köniz/Liebefeld, on the city border with Bern and next to the well-known Vidmarhallen, WORKSPACE & MORE offers top modern workspaces and meeting rooms at flexible pay as you go conditions, and will be our hub for the Swiss {ai} Weeks in Bern.

This will be the location of a series of events including the F{ai}R and Hackathon Bern. See the program above and pre-events guide for photos and additional information.

Built last year according to SIA500 standards, barrier-free and on the ground floor of a building of high Minergie standard, we aspire to the meet the highest criteria of climate neutrality, zero food waste, and circularity. During the hackathon, a Vietnamese food truck will be one of the gastronomy options available.

Our workspace is located in the heart of Bern's digitalization scene in Liebefeld, affectively known as Silicon Lovefield. Innovative companies such as Unic, Lambda IT or Oxon meet established companies such as PHOENIX Pharma Switzerland, the BEKB or the Federal Office of Health BAG. We are supporting local startups and non-profits through discounts and events.
